Our University preparation programme is a demanding programme which sets out to develop the skills students need to effectively function in an academic environment. This syllabus is aimed at international students who are thinking about third level study through English, however, we welcome people from all walks of life to take part.

The programme aims to enhance students efficiency in speech, work on their cohesion in writing, help them to listen for more precise detail and also to skim, scan and read more quickly and accurately. The programme also preps students in the areas of presenting, thesis writing, note taking and summarising. Excursions and cultural tours are optional, however, this particular programme is targeted at those who seek an intense, focused and beneficial learning experience.

All of these systems and skills need to be finely tuned before a student takes on the challenges of contemporary academics. We want to make sure that you feel comfortable and ready to add to your list of qualifications in an English speaking learning institution.
